👐 Create an API key

To see traces in LangSmith, you need an API key.

Once logged into your account, click the gear icon on the sidebar. This should take you to the API Keys page.

Click the blue Create API Key button to create a new API key. In the modal that appears, assign a name for the key, and copy it to a safe place when prompted.
